The Adaptec Fiber Card 9110G is a 1 Gigabit Fiber Channel Host Bus Adapter (HBA) targeted at small- and medium-size companies looking for an easy-to-use adapter that offers industry-leading interoperability, compatibility and performance. The 66 MHz, 64-bit PCI host interface adapter features Agilent Technologies' Tachyon chip combined with Adaptec drivers and SAN (Storage Area Network) management software. The 9110G delivers data transfer rates up to 1 Gigabit per second and 2 Gb/sec (full duplex). It provides an internal copper connection, and with a GBIC (Gigabit Interface Converter) it offers the flexibility of copper or optical external connections.
