Cisco 2611XM VPN Bundle - Router - EN, Fast EN - Cisco IOS Firewall/IPSec/3DES - 1 U - rack-mountable

The Cisco 2600 (non XM) VPN Bundles have enabled customers to easily order a Cisco VPN Router with all the necessary chassis, module, software, and memory components at a reduced price compared to ordering each part separately. However, with new Security features and functionality continually being added on the Cisco 2600 Series routers, additional memory capacity for future requirements are required to meet the needs of these services and ensure customer`s success. In order to meet these requirements, the Cisco 2600XM models offer more memory capacity to ensure this transition. New XM VPN bundles have been introduced with the Cisco 2600XMs, offering greater functionality and enhancements when compared to the current Cisco 2600 models with similar VPN bundles. Designed to support Intranet, Extranet and Remote Access VPN deployments, these Bundles offer both Enterprise and Service Provider managed service customers the ability to deploy proven security features such as Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Firewalls as well as high speed Internet access and the ability to create Extranets or De-Militarized Zones (DMZs).
