ADC - Rack shelf

The MM6000 shelf provides a way to securely install multiple Megabit Modems 300S, 500L, 600F and 700F into a single shelf. The shelf holds up to 10 modems and fits into a 19" or 23" rack. The MM6000 shelf provides a convenient way to install several modems in one location and manage their power supplies. Leave a minimum space of 3.5 inches (2U space) above and below a shelf to allow for proper heat dissipation. When multiple shelves are installed in the same rack, it is recommended that you use a heat baffle assembly below each shelf to allow for proper heat dissipation. The MM6000 shelf has pre-installed mounting brackets. The mounting brackets are positioned for a mid-rack mount (where the chassis extends beyond the front of the rack). You can alter the mounting bracket position on the MM6000 shelf for a flush-front mount (where the chassis is even with the front of the rack). The position of the mounting bracket on the MM6000 shelf can be changed to mount in a 23-inch rack. The shelf easily accommodates the varying dimensions of each of the Megabit Modems. The modems, regardless of size, are held securely in place by thumbscrews.
